![]() Sandrine DELHUMEAU"After graduating from ESMOD in 1988, I had my first work experience in Athens, Greece, in a company that specialized in cut-and-sew knits. My next ready-to-wear experiences included working on women’s and children’s clothing in denims and other woven fabrics as well as working with cut-and-sew knits. After 13 years of experience as an employee, I decided to open my own style office to develop and interpret collections in different designer universes and, especially, to work for myself. At about the same time, in 2004, I returned to ESMOD to teach patternmaking. Since 2010, I have taught the Women’s ready-to-wear, Knit option Patternmaking class in partnership with Christian Tournafol who specializes in knits and sustainable development. Today I’m thrilled to share my experience in this book that, I hope, will transmit my passion for this wonderful skill of patternmaking that truly plays the role of a fashion interpreter." ![]() ![]() (1) |
